01 — Alfonso's Gift
A Birthday, a Stranger
It was Livier's birthday. Their mutual friend Alfonso — who had no idea what he was setting in motion — brought Mike along. From across the room, something clicked. Livier received many gifts that night. Mike turned out to be the best one.
"She followed herself on Instagram. That's when he knew she was different."
02 — The Man Cave
The First Kiss
There's something honest about a first kiss that happens somewhere unexpected. Not a rooftop, not a restaurant. A man cave — real, unscripted, and exactly right. That night something shifted. The playfulness had always been there. The depth had just been waiting.
03 — Boston in the Snow
The Winter That Changed Things
A snowstorm in Boston does something to people. It strips away the noise and leaves only what matters. That winter, stuck inside with nothing to perform, they had the kind of conversations that change everything. The city was white and quiet. They were falling in love.
04 — The Monarch
His Monarch Butterfly
Every year the Monarch butterfly makes an extraordinary journey — leaving Mexico, crossing thousands of miles, stopping in Boston along the way. Mike noticed it. He started calling Livier his Monarch butterfly. A girl from Mexico who flew into his life and never really left.
"She travels from Mexico. She stops in Boston. Always his Monarch."
05 — The Lighthouse
A Question at the Water's Edge
At a lighthouse — the kind of place that makes you say the true thing — they made it official. The relationship began right there, water below, light above. Then, at that same place, same view, same feeling, Mike got down on one knee. The lighthouse that witnessed the beginning also witnessed the forever.
"The same lighthouse. Twice. Both times, the answer was yes."
01 — El Regalo de Alfonso
Un Cumpleaños, un Extraño
Era el cumpleaños de Livier. Su amigo en común, Alfonso — que no tenía idea de lo que estaba desencadenando — llevó a Mike a la fiesta. Desde el otro lado del cuarto, algo encajó. Livier recibió muchos regalos esa noche. Mike resultó ser el mejor.
"Ella se siguió sola en Instagram. Ahí supo que era diferente."
02 — El Man Cave
El Primer Beso
Hay algo honesto en un primer beso que ocurre en un lugar inesperado. No una terraza, no un restaurante. Un man cave — real, sin guión, exactamente correcto. Esa noche algo cambió. El juego siempre había estado ahí. La profundidad solo estaba esperando.
03 — Boston Bajo la Nieve
El Invierno que lo Cambió Todo
Una tormenta de nieve en Boston hace algo con la gente. Elimina el ruido y deja solo lo que importa. Ese invierno, sin nada que demostrar, tuvieron las conversaciones que lo cambian todo. La ciudad estaba blanca y silenciosa. Ellos se estaban enamorando.
04 — La Mariposa Monarca
Su Mariposa Monarca
Cada año, la mariposa monarca hace un viaje extraordinario — sale de México, recorre miles de kilómetros, y hace una parada en Boston en el camino. Mike lo notó. Empezó a llamar a Livier su mariposa monarca. Una chica de México que voló a su vida y nunca se fue del todo.
"Viaja desde México. Hace parada en Boston. Siempre fue su mariposa monarca."
05 — El Faro
Una Pregunta a la Orilla del Agua
En un faro — el tipo de lugar que te hace decir lo verdadero — lo formalizaron. La relación comenzó ahí mismo, con el agua abajo y la luz arriba. Y luego, en ese mismo lugar, misma vista, misma sensación, Mike se hincó. El faro que fue testigo del principio también fue testigo del para siempre.
"El mismo faro. Dos veces. Las dos veces, la respuesta fue sí."
